This 16-story high mural proudly covers the entire west side of the refurbished Pierside Santa Monica hotel which is situated opposite the world-famous Santa Monica Pier.

Giant's Latest Mural
Earlier
this year, Artist Shepard Fairey's
team contacted us to protect their
largest commissioned mural on the West
Coast. The mural, painted on the west-facing
wall of the Pierside Hotel in Santa Monica
features bright red and blue pigments that
would be vulnerable to degradation with
exposure to UV sunlight.
The
mural was finished with two coats of
MuralShield
- a conservation-grade coating that will
prevent any damage caused by UV, weather,
salt spray, and pollutants prolonging the
color and vibrancy of the
pigments.
